Pseudonymity in Translational Research

PI's:
Prof. Dr. med. Klaus Kuhn, Prof. Dr. Claudia Eckert
PhD Candidates: Florian Kohlmayer, Dipl.-Inf.; Ronald Lautenschläger, M.Sc. (associated)

This thesis perfoms research on security and privacy (pseudonymity) concepts for information systems in medicine that ensure a maximum degree of integrity on one hand and ananymity on the other hand, with a specific focus on research. Models and primitives will be investigated that allow one to rigorously argue about the security of pseudonymity concepts against various attacks and forms of abuse. The projejt is based at the Chair of Medical Informatics, TUM medical center rechts der Isar, and at the Chair for IT Security at TUM.
